The Cochrane Crunch are excited to finally get to announce the signing of one of our first commitments of the spring.
We couldn’t be happier to announce our new addition to our D core.
Lets welcome from Courtney BC Austin Heidt.
Austin is complete player. He is skilled, physical, moves the puck well and is known to be one heck of a teammate.
He is very popular with his Junior B team, the Comox Valley Glacier Kings, both in the community and in the dressing room (where he played the last 4 seasons).
He was one of their captains and was to be their Captain this season.
We are lucky that we are able to add Austin and his experience to our club.
Playing for the same Junior team in his Junior career shows you a lot about his character.
Austin is a 6’2″ – 205 lb right handed shot Defenceman.
